Brake Woes

Hello CRG Family,

It has been an action packed month, building a shop here in Akron, moving in tools, and still taking great care of customers and their vehicles!! This week The Lately In the Garage Blog is BACK in action!! This week we had a car come in that was making groaning/scraping sounds up front, as well as a pretty bad shake when you got on the brakes. A quick visual inspection revealed that the surface of the rotors had failed, leaving big rusty craters on the surface of the rotor. Everytime these spots would come into contact with the pads, the brakes would grab, causing a vibration. A new set of Rotors and new Pads quickly cured this issue, and got the truck stopping like new!
